Head of Actuary

(Jakarta Raya)

Responsibilities:

Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:

• Maintaining the annual premium rate for all existing products;


• Taking full responsibility in building the company monthly reserve on the system cutoff date.


• Supervising the Product Development together with the team in assessing the profitability of each product.


• Actively provide initiative on Product Development process by closely working with Business Managers.


• Maintaining good relationship with other operational managers and key persons,


• Maintaining good relationship with Sales/Business people.


• Preparing yearly operational reports, MOF approval report on reserves,


• Monitoring and developing staff performance.


• Assessing product profitability by monitoring mortality experience and lapse rates.


• Taking full responsibility for reinsurance arrangements of all existing products.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Mathematics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.


• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.


• Preferably Senior Management/General Manager/CEO/VP/Directors specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.


• Logical thought with ability to analyze problem


• Having a capacity to express conclusion in clear and precise language


• Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity


• High level of computer literacy


• Team player


• Proactive, especially with communication of actuarial concepts


• Leadership and ability to influence/persuade

Customer Service Administrator

Responsibilities:

• setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency, accuracy, quality;


• managing the daily operations;


• liaising with supervisors, team leaders, operatives and third parties to gather information and resolve issues;


• maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and involvement in networks;


• monitoring and doing random check to improve quality, minimize errors and track operative performance;


• organizing staffing, including shift patterns and the number of staff required to meet demand;


• developing, implementing and reviewing core responsibilities and tasks;


• analyzing performance statistics and making decisions on the basis of these statistics;


• improving performance by raising efficiency and sourcing new equipment to enable this;


• Review and approval of escalated cases, refunds, payments, leaves, overtime, etc.


• plan and implement operational performance and cost efficiency;


• providing management reports, analysis, tactical and strategic recommendations;

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.


• Required skill(s): microsoft word, Microsoft Excel.


• At least 6 year(s) of working experience in Insurance or Banking is a must


• Preferably Managers specializing in Customer Service or equivalent.


• Advance qualification in Microsoft Excel


• LOMA, AAJI, AAMAI Certification is preffered


• Experience in Leading projects and team
